If you are headed to Snowshoe this is as good as your going to get unless you go into Marlinton WHICH IS NOT ON THE WAY if you are coming into area this way. The prices at the ski resort are eyepoppingly high.

Your options are severely limited here and in the area. Really only have three options for groceries and if you want fresh veggies (the best) and their meat counter is really really good. Best anywhere around here for 40 miles. This is also a true general store deal (typical up here) with all sorts of non-grocery items like house numbers and outdoor/camping items. They also have gas. I highly recommend the Tavern Ham from deli and give the horseradish cheese a try. I was wary but liked it after the deli girl recommended it. Said she likes on roast beef. Service is always outstanding and helpful. Prices are high but all groceries are more expensive up here....
