The Nordland General Store on Mystery Bay/Marrowstone Island is one of the best places for provisions from the water—a little bit of everything from hardware and cleaning supplies to fine cheeses, Cape Cleare smoked salmon, Whidbey Island Ice Cream and excellent wines that you might not find elsewhere in the islands. They have limited supplies but we were impressed with the selection, even in the winter. If visiting by boat, the store is a 15 minute walk from Mystery Bay State Park.
