My family attends this farmers market religiously while its in season (literally every Sunday!). We love buying all our vegetables for the week from Nancy's (or another produce vendor), mushrooms from Francis (Rock Creek Run Farm), getting goodies from Pastries on the Porch and gluten free breads/sweet treats from Gluten free breadhouse. Jerrys Berries also has great fermented products. We loves the flowers from Earth Wind Flower Farm. My daughter's favorite part is visiting the range of wild stock Mellowood Shop brings along with them (this year has been bunnies!) This year the market has more vendors which is nice, but I have noticied that there will be a few of the same type of vendor (like 3 pet bandana vendors or two gluten free baked good vendor) and besides that I think that affects their businesses individually, I would like to see more variety or rotation to this market...
Read moreI have been going there for over 8 years now. Every vendor and service group has been helpful and sell quality items. Elizabeth and Dana are so very helpful and child friendly. Chester has fabulous fruit, veggies, and homemade pickles. Darren and Becca sell the tastiest chips and salsa. Erica, Holly, and Ceci have some of the best organically raised meats. Jon and Cheryl's fresh roasted coffee and brewed teas are delicious. Jerry sells great berries and homemade jams. Mary has homeopathic remedy's. Toni and Chris make and sell some of the best specialty pickles on the East coast. Jacob and Gabriella make the best tasting fresh squeezed juices and drinks. Buddy and Connie have gourmet nuts and homemade entrees for lunch or dinner. That is only the tip of the iceberg for one of the best farmer's markets in the Valley. Read moreGreat farmer's market. Probably a hidden gem. It's a "Producers Market" = you have to grow it or make it. Vendor prices might be a little higher than what the same vendor charges at a market in a different area, however still worthwhile. The tomatoes here are the best we've ever tasted.
