I am writing this review in hopes that the event organizers see this and take into serious consideration for the future. I have been to my fair share of levitate festivals and I must say this year’s environment did not meet what levitate has been in the past. It was severely over crowded to the point where it felt like at any moment it could have been unsafe. There was so many underage kids drinking being disrespectful, throwing drinks on families, pushing, intentionally screaming in spectators ears and these types of kids were all over your event. Your bar didn’t even check IDs and there was no identifier for 21+ like there has been in the past. No wonder why there was so many drunk 16-20 year olds. It’s honestly a shame and I am disappointed in how poorly managed security and staff was this year. There wasn’t a single staff person in the field of the main stage. I witnessed a woman who was under the influence fall and slam her head on the pavement. No one in sight to ask for help. Hope you guys see this and do better next year. Not what...

I went in 2023 for the 3 day festival. There was a good lineup, and more variety of music. I went again this summer, 2025. Really disappointed. Only 2 days this time because they couldn't get enough bands to come. Not surprised. Crowd mostly stands there. Vast majority of people aren't dancing. Bands try to work the crowd and don't get much of a response. No shade and a lot of concrete. This year, we lost a significant portion of the fair ground to the VIP section, which cut off a vital avenue between main stages. Smallest stage, "songwriter", had bands in full sun, which is totally inappropriate. Food is over-priced. Hard to get nonalcoholic drinks because you have to wait in long food lines just to get a beverage. Local festival goers seem to want a tame, family-friendly experience, so don't expect to see or hear weird or unique stuff. Dispatch was the only group brave enough to say No Kings and mourn ICE raids during their show, which was awesome. Frat boy in front of me got visibly offended and "sieg heiled" in...

A ton of fun, but very, very expensive food and drink on the inside. Most of it is not even that good, especially the "Japanese" food truck in there, easily the worst attempt at Japanese food I have ever had. I suggest going all in and bringing an entire sealed gallon of water for yourself (and even smuggle food if you're up to it). The craft vendors are a little pricey but compared to the food, 100% worth it. Very cool variety and high level of skill on display in general!

And yeah, the acts are great and they DO start on time, which still kinda blows my mind. Only downside is there's no dedicated dancing area, leading to a kinda chaotic situation with dancing people mixed in with bouning people and talking people. Definitely an area of needed...

Great bands, great venue, excellent parking, and the food selections had something for everyone without going broke. They were even doing something every friggin outdoor venue should take a clue from. They were handing out waters to folks to keep people from over heating and not just a few but case after case. They actually had the peoples enjoyment and health in mind. We drove from Minnesota after having purchased the tickets 3 years ago and two cancelled dates. Was worth the wait tho. Hope it stays this way and not overhyped and overrated like a few of the other festivals we all know and despise.

This is absolutely one of the best festivals I've ever attended. They had sufficient stations to get drinks, so lines weren't unbearable. Everyone was so nice. The vibe was great! People didn't trash the place. Just polite, wonderful people. There are so many food trucks! Hardly waited for any of those, either. There were even sufficient porta-potties, so we didn't have to wait for them either. You can also bring your own water bottle in so you're not stuck drinking water in a can. Well done, Levitate. We will be back next year.
