Martin Tire — Local services in Martin Township

I was quoted 15.00 per tire to take 4 tires off of 15” rv rims and mount and balance 4 new tires that I had purchased elsewhere. Now the quote was over the phone with Lori 2 weeks prior to me bringing them out to them. I dropped them off on Monday at 9:30 in the morning, and at 3:30 in the afternoon I called to see if they were done, Lori explained that they were busy and would get to them first thing in the morning. At 9:30 on Tuesday they were ready, I asked how much it would be thinking no big deal 4 tires off and 4 tires on and balance, well Lori said 120.00????? I said you quoted me 15.00 per tire 2 weeks ago, so she said how about 100.00, I said that was a far cry from the 60.00 you quoted 2 weeks ago , then she said how about 75.00, and I said if that’s what you have to have. Then she said ok, 60.00 is fine??? What gives, I was trying to get away from the Belle tire and Discount tire lies and rip offs and then you get it from your small town people also. All I can say is shame on Martin Tire in Martin mi. I will never be back and if I can discourage anyone else from patronizing this business, I will do...

We needed emergency wheel services while driving along US 131 near Martin, Michigan. Martin Tire was less than two miles away, so we had our truck towed here. We were at the mercy of Mike and his shop to get our truck back on the road, both in work quality and cost. Meanwhile, we made it back to the Detroit area, to await repairs for a few days.
