This place is really cool. They're easy to get to, have great parking, and great prices. The people are very friendly and helpful and there's plenty of security so you feel safe bringing cash.

I love that they have so many staff there both on the counters and ahead before the lines to help you out. I'm autistic and going new places can be really overwhelming and having that was very helpful. The store was a bit busy but there was plenty of personal space and the lines were non-existent.

I also love being able to order online and pickup and pay in store as it takes me a long time to make a decision. They had my stuff on the counter by the time I had gotten in line. I maybe spent longer getting in and out of my car than I did in store.

I loved my experience here and will definitely be back next time I need stuff. The whole staff was very kind and polite, and people went of out their way to help, hold doors, etc. Please pass on my compliments.

The only thing I would change, and I genuinely also could have missed this if there was one, but some kind of "Exit this way" sign on the floor, or other place just to make it a little more clear that there's a flow to the store. If you do have that and I missed it, please disregard. :)

Edit, 6-29-24, I still go here, though infrequently, whenever I need anything any experience listed above has been the same every time I've gone in the last 2 years, though they've made it even more accessible to buy online and now take debit which is really cool cuz I never carry cash.

Would still highly recommend it, the staff is still great, and let me know of a free product coupon. I was eligible for that the website missed.

I just moved to the East Bay Area and needed to find a new go to spot.. and am so happy that I discovered Velvet! The security guard Green is the sickest security guard ever, super chill and friendly and gives great advice about their weekly deals, same with Christina and Alisa! Their staff is super friendly and give great recommendations and don’t ever make you feel rushed when you’re having a hard time choosing from their extensive selection. I’m huge into concentrates and always check the mfg and packaging date, and their selection is always fresh and packaged within the same month or recently. Can’t really think of any negatives about this place except their prices are pre-tax but the weekly deals, friendly environment, and high quality selection more than make up for that! Always feel welcomed with a warm greeting and smiles from security and the person checking you in. As soon as you walk into the clean air conditioned place you are welcomed by more friendly people who are so generous to help you out and have great recommendations! Today I had the absolute lovely please of having Maddi help me at the counter! She was absolutely the best ever, she has such a welcoming and warming presence about her! We were laughing so much and talking about not only weed products but also things we had in common! Her energy was just so blissful and overall awesome!!! I really hope to go back and have the pleasure of seeing her there, she has rock star recommendations and is very knowledgeable about all products! She really made my day!
