Just finished a tour and tasting at BootLeg Distilling. Thanks so much Brad for sharing your extensive knowledge, who knew everything it takes to create your wonderful product. It was great seeing a run process and hearing how it all comes together. Lucia was so nice and informative made some great suggestions on concoctions we can make with the sweet cinnamon. If you can’t make it to the distillery, ask for sweet cinn at a WV liquor store or local bar, it’s delicious! Update- since the original post we have become even bigger fans of Bootleg Distilling in Martinsburg, WV. Brad has definitely upped his game adding a delicious smoke note to the bourbon, strawberry lemonade rum is refreshing and delicious in frozen cocktails, and his newest deliciousness in a bottle is blueberry lemonade. My go to will always be sweet cinn but they certainly are making it...

My husband and I visited Bootleg Distillery today and we had a wonderful time! We tasted the various spirits they have to offer, got a tour of their facility, and enjoyed talking with the owner Lucia who shared some of the history of the distillery and the distilling process. Although their Bourbon Whiskey was my husbands favorite and mine was their Sweet Cinn, we ended up purchasing bottles of their other spirits as well. I can't wait to try some of the recipes that Lucia said are posted on their website using their rum lemonades. Bootleg Distillery is a must see. Stop by and visit, try some of their liquor and take a tour - you will not be disappointed! 10/10...
