I stopped by Kodiak Kones tonight and they looked closed. I get in my car to Google BASKIN Robbin’s. Next thing I know, the owner is opening the shop just for me. Super cool! They have A Lot of locally sourced and made in store ice cream to choose from. St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock sprinkle dipped waffle cones. Topping options and choices for allergy sufferers. Sugar free etc. I got us Sugar Cookie, Toffee Bar, Churro, and Deep Dish Apple Pie. Sugar Cookie is my favorite of the four. We actually plan on mixing the Apple Pie and Churro TOGETHER to make Cinnamon Apple Churro. From the sample, I can tell it’s going to be Scrumptious. My bf ate the Entire Toffee Bar by himself. Obviously it was enjoyed. Lol While in the store I could smell an amazing woodsy scent and the owner told me he was smoking pulled pork out back. Using local downed timber from this past fall. It smelled amazing and we will definitely be back for some along with the Mac and cheese they offer. They’re also conveniently located, about 2 miles past Berkeley Plaza, toward Spring Mills, on the right. A great place for food or a treat. Kind and friendly owners. Reasonable prices for premium ice cream. Will def recommend.

Stopped by Kodiak Kones for the first time and told the owner, Otto—it was my first visit. Not only did he welcome me, but he personally took the time to let me sample my way through a wide variety of flavors without rushing me at all. That kind of service is rare and genuinely appreciated. They serve Hershey’s ice cream (which is already top-tier), but Otto’s homemade ice cream? It’s even better—creamy, flavorful, and made with serious skill. The flavor selection is massive, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into the classics or want to try something totally unique. There’s plenty of outdoor seating (seriously, enough for a football team) and a big parking lot, so access is easy and convenient. If you can dream it, Otto can make it happen. He’s not just an ice cream maker—he’s the Ice Cream King of Berkeley County. Do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won’t regret it! PS get the homemade cookie butter, it’s the best hands down!!!!

Ice Cream all YEAR ROUND. Sugar Free and Dairy Free choices as well. Friendly couple, Dickie and Stephanie serve "Kodiak Kones" hand dipped ice cream to you, with a warm smile. Happy to answer questions on homemade ice creams. Gerber Ice Cream also sold here, as well as Stewart's bottled sodas. Homemade Milkshakes made thick or thin, your preference. Open until 9 pm, closed on Mondays. Check out this new ice cream shop, to include toppings and waffle cones. Ice cream Sandwichs homemade, and banana splits, specialty sundaes.
