One year ago, I would have left a five-star review, but due to the disrespect shown to me and many other customers, recommending this store would be a disservice to other customers. If you are going in and buying a specific product, the store can be okay. Any other extended interaction will leave you with a negative experience. It is unfortunate due to the fact this community around them welcomes this type of business and has room to grow, but when you disrespect that community, you harm the games that we all love. Their prices are fair, but I would rather pay higher than receive the service I and many others have experienced. Such responses to reviews in the picture below show the amount of care that the Marvel Freaks staff is willing to give to someone with a negative review. Such actions make trading card games, video games, and collectible communities look bad. If you would like to "pull the footage" of you yelling at me in the middle of the store over a joke or going over the intercom to say there is a "hater in the building," I would love to see it. I wanted this store to do good and supported it until such disrespect, and I am saddened to see such actions are still taking place. The response to this review shows the respect Marvel Freaks shows towards its customers and community. The "slander" and the fact that I have not been to the store are unsubstantiated and untrue. The photos below taken from their Facebook page (shown within the photo) are three pictures of me participating, interacting, and placing within tournaments in their store. To accuse past customers of slander due to a negative review is the point that many people are trying to make about this store, they are unprofessional and will throw words at people to degrade the opinions of the community. My review was not left with a promise of a discount nor have I heard this rumour. The only place I have seen to push reviews for discounts is Marvel Freaks. I would like for the owners to take a bit of responsibility with their words as a local business rather than trying to push people's opinions down, but unfortunately, that is the Marvel Freaks way. If you would like to show the footage of me apologizing you cussing me out in front of everyone and then storming out then yes that is okay with me. I did not recruit people to your prerelease I tried to get friends to come such as Nic and Tre, do you not want others at your tournaments? Tell me the part within my post that is slander. If you think I was trying to push others to another shop, during this time you guys were my only shop. You pick and joked and when I returned the favor it hit a bad spot and you lashed out like a child. If you would like to show that footage please do so. Poor attitude from the female worker. (owner?) I walked in and spent 15 minutes alone before anyone ever came to greet me. I literally had to say "guess they don't want to make money" before anyone ever showed up. They clearly knew someone was there, the door makes sound and they have cameras all over the place. Not a welcoming environment by any means. Very slim pickings on actual traded product. After seeing the attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by this establishment today, I'll gladly be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I wanted to add the photo for those of you who didn't get to witness the complete disregard for their customers and professionalism. A true business owner would do everything they could to help their customers and boost the moral of their business, in order to prosper in an ever dying community....

❤️‍🔥Marvel Freaks has the HEAT❤️‍🔥

Smells great, always clean, and forever helpful. This is the best game store on the East coast to me. Gaming tournaments, trading card game tournaments, and they even host parties as well!!! The nostalgia you feel walking into the game room and the mystical mood of the Dungeons and Dragon den will make you immediately resonate with the place.

The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and awesome to everyone that comes in. You come for the goods and return for the vibes!

Authentic folks that will help enhance your day and bring much needed greatness to the area. MarvelFreaks has set the standard that other shops...

Brought my PS4 in a couple weeks ago because it started messing up on me. With this PS4 being such an expensive investment for myself I wanted to do everything for it to fix it before doing anything else. MarvelFreaks took a look at it and gave it a good cleaning and inspection, they tested her out before giving her back to me looking completely new! She’s been working perfectly ever since! Thank you MarvelFreaks for protecting my investment at a very fair price!

Brought my PS4 in a couple weeks ago because it started messing up on me. With this PS4 being such an expensive investment for myself I wanted to do everything for it to fix it before doing anything else.
