Hell will freeze before I take anything of mine here again, and I used to recommend this place to people. I supplied my own tires and R&J said they would install them for $40.00 and $10.00 to dispose the old tires. So, $50.00 in total for installing and balancing. Well, they told her she needed brake pads on the front and rear. She called and asked my opinion. Normally, I do my own brake jobs since disc brake pads are easy, but I told her since they already had the wheels and tires off of it to go ahead while they had it. I should have asked how much they charged for that. She arrived right at 2:30pm and left at about 3:15pm. Her bill went from $50.00 to $295.67 when she went to pay, for less than 45 minutes worth of work. And again, I supplied the tires. The only thing they supplied was the pads. Broke a part on my car, and didn't even tell me! Came in for an alignment, snapped the threaded piece in the picture and stripped the adjustment piece in places from over torquing it, and ONLY after I had to check the same area again for another issue did I see it.. Called back in and not only was I told that he knew it happened, and it was from him torquing it, but said he didn't think to tell me because he had other things going on, and continued by defended himself by saying these things break and that I will just need to replace it during my next alignment!! I was shocked! You broke it, and are telling me just to replace it because they wear out?! What if it fully broke while driving?! What if debris got inside? Fantastic experience! I really hope that this wasn't just a good day for me, but that everyone is able to share the same sentiment! I blew a tire on my trailer and had no idea where the next truck stop would be on my route! I passed these guys not knowing I could have stopped. So I called and to see if they can help me and without hesitation the answer was yes, come on back! Swung a giant u turn and checked in! I wasn't there long at all considering I was a walk-in! Anyway everyone was cool and polite and willing to help which put me at ease considering the times we are living in! All I can say is thank you and I can't even say that enough!
