Seaquist House — Local services in Mason

The red sandstone buildings of Mason are impressive enough viewing as you drive through the city, but only two blocks north of the square lies this architectural gem. It was built as a "modest" show place home, and subsequent owners expanded it and added to the opulent decor both inside and out. I drive a semi and had stopped in front of the Court House to take pictures on April 29th 2019. Walked around the area taking pictures. Just before going back to my truck to leave, a very nice local lady asked me if I had see the Seaquist House. I told her I hadn't. She said I really should, and gave me a ride to the house and on the way telling me a bit of it's history. It was a short ride, maybe 2 blocks, but so kind of her and I'm so glad she took the time.
