I hate it has come to this, but I have been platinum blonde for a year now and have always took care of my hair & used heat protection when straightening. around 4 months ago, my hair was done at Shannon hills suite as always, she has always done my hair right. -well, her assistant did my hair that time instead, and the toner or whatever it is that they put on my hair SAT on for over a HOUR! I know this because I kept looking at the time and my scalp feeling weird. While I was sitting in the chair, another lady was sitting at the sink while her hair was toning or processing after her wash (they were busy that day) after finally getting my hair rinsed, then blown out, my hair was GREY! My hair has NEVER been that grey with ALL of the visits I have took over there. It was over processed and she swears up and down that it could be my straightener, my pool (which is salt water, not chlorine) or covid! I have never had covid. I have spoke to many of people about this and they said that my hair was definitely over processed seeing that all of my hair at the top of my head has broke off! There is NO WAY my straightener made all of my hair at the same location all over the top of my head break off!

Now a few months back I went for a root touch up and it was not done correctly, my hair where it was touched up is so yellow, that my purple Matrix shampoo won’t even fix because now I know that she knew my hair was damaged and was scared to say anything or do it right because it all could’ve fell out. I have asked for a refund a few weeks back & she did not want to give one. The price went up during each visit ($165 for a root touch up?!) I really liked Shannon but she knows what happened to my hair of what her assistant did and she will not own up to it. It would be “ok” if she did own up to it but now I have spent over $300 to try to save the rest of my hair. Yes, mistakes can happen, but when you’re doing someone’s hair you need to atleast have a TIMER on definitely dealing with platinum blonde hair.
