An Unforgettable Culinary Experience with Chef Jason
Chef Jason created one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. From our very first interaction, he was warm, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful—he involved us in the process and made the entire evening feel tailored, personal, and effortless.
The meal opened with an artful pupu course: fresh pineapple dusted with black lava sea salt, a delicate tart, and the star—a crisp tostada topped with guacamole and melt-in-your-mouth cured fish. The flavors were bold, bright, and beautifully balanced.
Next came a refreshing salad that struck the perfect harmony between tangy and sweet: Sun Sugar yellow cherry tomatoes, strawberries, shaved Parmesan over butter lettuce drizzled with a lilikoi dressing. It was vibrant, light, and the ideal transition into the courses that followed.
The fresh linguine appetizer with crispy shallots and a red sauce infused with basil oil was an absolute standout—rich, comforting, and impossible to stop thinking about.
For the main course, Jason served a creative and elevated surf and turf: seared ahi over a creamy Molokai sweet potato purée, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled baby zucchini, charred bok choy, and a medium-rare steak topped with bright, herbaceous chimichurri. Each bite was thoughtful, balanced, and deeply satisfying.
Dessert was the perfect finale: a decadent flourless chocolate cake with salted caramel sauce, and a vanilla ice cream topped with ube rice pudding, mochi, and fresh mango. Every element felt intentional and indulgent without ever being heavy.

Read moreDefinitely the best and most memorable meal we’ve had in the 30 years, we’ve been coming to Maui. Jason served us a privately catered dinner for four. He diligently selects the freshest, local ingredients and creates a custom menu that suits each group of his clients. We were treated to eight courses, each one meticulously prepared. Jason also recommended that we have a slightly sweet riesling that distinctly blended with the flavors of the meal. The sauces on each of the dishes were both complex and flavorful without overwhelming the featured ingredient. Do not hesitate to book Jason for a fabulous dinner.

His best in class dishes are OMG over the top delicious, are artful/fun eye candy, have flavors that are layered beyond belief while being light, and his salute to keto/organic makes his dishes healthy and filling. What a delight to have a talented chef like this in Maui. I highly recommend hiring Jason for your next special occasion, event and/or just because you deserve to be delighted for a memorable meal. If you do, you will not have a single morsel left on your plate nor will you have that stuffed, uncomfy feeling from typical restaurant food.
