Bad prices. Still not a deal but she will negotiate down to half the initial price she tells you because everything is unlabeled. I just don't like that she said $75 then agreed to $40, so I left. Read moreLook, it's Hawaii. Prices are sometimes a bit high. But at least the fruit was ripe.
Safeway, Times Market, etc the apple bananas were solid green and would not be ripe before we left the island, and their mangos were hard as bullets.
So we probably paid too much at this little spot along the road of life but hey, these folks are just trying to make a living, and they are really nice.
Note: the little pineapple bread loaf didn't have a spec of pineapple in it...it wasn't terrible bread, and had a hint of pineapple taste, but Im not buying one...
