Maui's Own Fresh Fruit — Local services in Maui

Bad prices. Still not a deal but she will negotiate down to half the initial price she tells you because everything is unlabeled. I just don't like that she said $75 then agreed to $40, so I left. Big time how much will a tourist pay spot. It's Maui and this fruit stand is straight out of Jamaica. To the owners response: The guy at Hookipa sold more than coconuts. You are right about one thing though, Maui is not comparable to Jamaica. I was comparing your fruit stand to Jamaica of course, not Maui. (Trying to see how much a tourist will pay). Your responses to our reviews are...

Look, it's Hawaii. Prices are sometimes a bit high. But at least the fruit was ripe.

Safeway, Times Market, etc the apple bananas were solid green and would not be ripe before we left the island, and their mangos were hard as bullets.

So we probably paid too much at this little spot along the road of life but hey, these folks are just trying to make a living, and they are really nice.

Note: the little pineapple bread loaf didn't have a spec of pineapple in it...it wasn't terrible bread, and had a hint of pineapple taste, but Im not buying one...

RIP OFF TOURIST TRAP. Prices aren't listed, so we just gathered a few bananas, a coconut, a pineapple, and a small soursop. The old man wheezed $77 (seventy seven) dollars for the small cache of fruit. What a joke. We'd already started drinking the coconut, so we had to buy that for $10, but put everything else back and left cranky. Go to a grocery store such as nearby mana foods or a fruit stand with...
