I've been dealing with some heavy stuff lately and not being able to get outside due to the cold hasn't helped at all, so as a spur of the moment thing, I grabbed my blades(that haven't seen the light of day in forever), and went for a skate.
I've never been here, but I'm quite impressed with everything they offer and the size of the rink. It's affordable to visit here and I'm glad they're also open during the times they are. I enjoy the less busy hours, and also my work shifts rotate a lot so I'm almost guaranteed at least an hour to skate for future visits on days I can make it in.
I'm so glad that I visited and had I known I lived practically within walking distance to JBS, I would have been going sooner. I haven't skated in at least 20 years and it was great being able to do it again. I hope to continue skating here as it's been an enjoyable and healing experience. I only wiped out about 4 times within 2 hours so I consider that a win! Pretty sure I recognized an old friend of mine here and if so, it was great seeing you!
You're doing a great job and thank you for continuing to provide a place for everyone of all ages to have some fun and escape life for a while, and also for some of us to reconnect with ourselves.
P.S. love the music/song selections! I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice place, Overpriced, Owners/management is stickers about litterally everything haven't seen so many petty rules inforced since elementary school. My daughter has fell really hard and hurt her back, They have big fancy masage chairs by the skate rink but Lord forbid you sit down in one before taking your skates off . The male owner was quick to rudely remind my daughter of that rule even though I had my debit card out paying for a session in the chair his words were ( didn't you see the sign? Then grabbed behind my daughter and got the sign with the list of Sykes and read them to her but to be honest I read the rules myself and it said " no skates on chair " So I and my daughter took it as it meant not to sit your dirty skates in the chair) but guess it actually meant u better not have any on your feet...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHope you have good health insurance when you get a concussion and your phone broken due to non-enforced rules. Do not listen to his response. I was there for 1 and a half hours, and less than a third of all people were following the skating floor rules. The owner used to crack down on kids but heās taken a more ākids arenāt a problem, figure it outā approach. I have also endured severe body bruising as well as a concussion from the negligence by the owner to enforce the ārulesā he claims to enforce in the response to this review. Only come here if you plan on not skating for the majority of the night or plan on bowling. The entire arcade/bouncy house section is a joke and youād get more moneyās worth going to an actual arcade. Be rich...
