last wed 10/16/19 i had called about a cat i was interested in at a petsmart that they have cats up for adoption. i asked about this cat andwas told that they would wait until we came back to town for us to adopt the cat since we definantly wanted the cat. i had asked if there was anything i needed to do and was told no. so we came back sunday and went to get the cat and then was told we needed to get an adoption aplication. which is no biggy i thought we were missing something. though then I honestly felt like they did not give us a chance. we wanted to adopt a beautiful little female cat. they had told us they would call us about it. not giving us a time frame. with that i had called them the same day to find out what i should do. they said to call back monday. I had called back monday left a message and was not gotten back to so i called tuesday and was told we were denied. but i had asked why we were denied and they said that they were confused about if out current cat was spayed or neutered. then was told they didnt really know why. we know that we had said that our current male cat was neutered. i was then told to call back wendsday. which i had. i was a little forcful because i wanted to know why we were denied. when i finally got the real reason i was crushed and sad but i atleast got the true nature of the denial. but my reason to being angry was a complete lack of communication, and being given the run-around with different excuses before being given a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI adopted a dog from here, he was very sick, I had no idea. The place I got him from was a grooming salon the foster owned. There was feces everywhere, the place was filthy. And clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages. I noticed a day after adoption he wasn't acting right, I got in touch with the foster, She refused to listen to me and said it was normal. I told her it wasn't, and this ain't my first adoption, and I used to foster. He continued to get sicker and I kept reaching out because they offer medical help and would get no answers, just answers that it normal. The next day he has a seizure because his fever was so high. I rushed to the emergency vet said she hasn't seen someone neuter a dog like that in decades. His white count was so high it wasn't registering. $2,500 later, he's okay thankfully. The cause was the neuter site, he was neutered through just animals where I adopted him. I contacted the director of the shelter she refused to make anything right, she told me to bring him back. I would never, I love him on top of it that was after I spent that much money and paid a $450...
