Acme Fresh Market — Local services in Medina

First impression wasn't great. Corn was turning. Walked up to the strawberries, found multiple packages with mold. Store seems rushed together. Multiple associates walking around, no one offers to help in a new store, mind you. From the looks of it, Regional Managers walking around, looking over the layout doing who knows. Couldn't look at chicken or meat due to the coolers being worked on. Both main double doors were being adjusted or fixed. Just seemed rushed together. Going down multiple aisles, prices are missing on produce and cleaning supplies. Just not a great experience. Lastly, the prices are high. And I mean high. To the point where some items are comparable to Heinens cost. Which is insane. If you are looking for quality/price go to the Northside, looking for something in a pinch without breaking the bank, suggest Discount Drug Mart...

Prices are crazy high but more importantly the employees (in the Medina store) are beyond rude. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and think everyone is entitled to a bad day but every single time I walk out speech less at the rudeness of every cashier I encounter. It must be part of the training…don’t make eye contact, don't speak to the customers and act super annoyed to be working. I was the only person in the self checkout and needed some assistance and the girl basically rolled her eyes at me because she had to walk 4 feet over to help. No cashiers, first scan item rings up red, need associates. No one to be found, see employee, she says wait at customer service, they have a camera they will come out , they don’t. She knocks on the door, they come out, I try to explain there are no cashiers, she cuts me off and says there are no cashiers. I try again to explain I scanned an item and it said I need a cashier, she is short with me and said you are the cashier. I said the light is red so she starts to walk over to help.
