I am very upset and disappointed at the way they do business . The designer came out to design two of my reach in closets . She told me they would be spacious and wide . After a hours wasted of design she told me she needed to come back to remeasure . I had to take time to be at the property to remeasure . After signing and processing deposit payment she told me the closets do not have a backend this is very expensive and she already gave me a 40% discount offered on their site and with this price can’t give me a back to the closets . I felt I should have been given the options upfront and prices and allowed the opportunity to make a choice . After all to me this isn’t a discount it’s just adjustment and sacrifice in style . But, since payment was processed and all I accepted. On the day of installation, I work 1 hour away from home . I was told installation would be between 3:00pm-4:00pm . I received a call at 12:10pm from installers they were outside my property and if I didn’t arrive in 30mins they were leaving and I had to reschedule . We had already moved all our stuff from the closets and waiting for installation. I couldn’t leave work because my kids were in school to top it off . My husband had to leave his job site and rush to them before they left .Once my husband arrives he notices the shelves were measuring 11 and some cm . We agreed with the Designer the shelves were going to be wide and spacious at 16 inch . When I called her she told me well you already signed the documents there’s nothing I can do . That for me did it . I canceled the work with the installers . I have been calling the company and no response . Left messages with answering service no response . I paid 50% of the work already and it’s been 3 weeks since the incident and no common courtesy to get a response . I don’t like to leave negative reviews as a business owner but, left no choice at such unprofessionalism at their behalf . I will have to escalate this . I loved the service and responsibility of the business from the day I called for the quote until the day of the installation. For the quote the receptionist gave me an appointment with Albert. Albert (very professional) arrived on time at my house and took his time to design the closet. I agreed with the drawing, he gave me some discounts, then I took my time to analyze the quote and finally accept the job. I cannot say they are the cheapest but they are the most professional and responsible. I called other companies that are dedicated to designing and installing closets that are also more economic but at the end, I decided to do the job with closet by design due to its professionalism. The installers also arrived exactly at 9:00 am the assigned time. I like punctual people, and at 11:00 they were finished. I have no complaint. They do not have much advertising like others, for example Closet Detail, tremendous advertising on Instagram but they are not professional at all. A girl arrived to my house who was very hurry and in 10 minutes she made me an unprofessional design without much explanation she gave me a price and that it ...a little be cheaper of course but I didn't like the lack of professionalism and interest. Then I call closetxperts, these were worse because when I called the receptionist who answered told me that the designer would call me to give an appointment. This designer called a week later..so said all this I recommend 100%...

UPDATE 2: The company just finished installation of the closet and we are very happy with how it turned out.

UPDATE: Received a phone call from the store manager apologizing for the situation that was caused by the sales associate. He called late on a Friday night rather than wait until the following week to make sure the issue was resolved before the weekend. He was very cordial and helpful.

Very unprofessional sales associates. After a month of back and forth about a simple closet design and pricing we have gotten well beyond the point of frustration with this company. Do not recommend using it if you have another choice. Container Store, Home Depot, California Closets, and a lot of others have provided better service, more timely assistance, and competitive prices.

Customers should not have to wait two (2) weeks for an updated design or need to call / email more than four (4) times to get a response. We had to call the local store several times before they would allow us to speak to anyone and would only relay messages and inform us that the sales associate would get back to us.
