Medway Imports — Local services in Medway

I would not recommend Medway Imports. The owner, Barry, is not by pleasant to interact with and the service was poor.

The vehicle looked great when I test drove it but when I picked it up it was filthy - covered in pollen and bird poop. They did not wash it before turning it over, the drivers side floor mats were very dirty, sticky stuff in the center console and it had less than 3 gallons of gas. Oil life was at 23%.

Additionally, they sat on filing for the registration once info was sent and also delayed picking up the registration when it was ready. The RMV completed registration in the morning and when I called the dealership Barry let me know they couldn’t get the registration that day because the RMV “won’t let them in the building past 3PM”. When I called the RMV to verify, the woman I spoke with said they are open until 5PM and there is no policy restricting folks from picking up registration after 3PM (aside from the fact that Medway Imports knew the registration was ready for pickup earlier that morning…). Barry and his team did not call me when the truck was ready for pick up, I had to call them to ask and that’s when I was told it was ready.

All in all this was an unpleasant experience and I will not be doing business with them in the future and recommend those reading this...

I purchased a f150 from this place today 11/25/22. The salesman who I was working with was new but but very nice to talk too. As i saw a few things about this truck i wasnt fond of. The salesman went to talk to the owner barry. Barry came out, never really introduced himself to us. Just went out to see our problem with the breaks. (Both front rotors and pads needed to be replaced). We waited about a hour for him to figure out what to do. He was ready to replace the breaks but was asking if we will take the truck. We offered to just deduct some money off and we can do the breaks ourselves. As we are trying to discuss a price. He was extremely rude in discussing anything. Almost seemed like he did not want our business at all. If i did not like the truck as much as i did. I would of just called it a loss and walked away. We came on agreement (on his way) and went to do paper work inside. The salesman was very nice in getting everything filled our while Barry did not say one word to us the whole time. I was very disappointed and utterly disgusted with his attitude towards us. Just did not seem like he was very friendly at all our entire time their. I’ve enjoyed the professional service at Medway Imports and interactions with Barry for 9 years …. until I went to pick up the original summer wheels for my Porsche 911 (that I purchased used from Medway in 2013) that Medway had always stored while I was running on winter tires. His associate went inside to look for the wheels and was told by Barry that he had discarded them in a general cleanup of the garage. Granted that I hadn’t changed from winter to summer tires for several years during Covid because I drove the car very little, but still came in annually for oil changes and sundry repairs. Without coming out to tell me personally and without a single word of apology, that was all…I discarded the wheels. Never ever called to ask if I wanted them. I would have picked up in a heartbeat. Understand these wheels cost over $2K new and unavailable used (I’ve tried!). Barry’s a car guy and of course knows their value. Hard to believe he would “discard” them.
