NW Jefferson County Sports Complex — Local services in Meramec Township

Fantastic playground for the kids, nice pavilion for family events. I just had my daughter's first birthday party here and it kept the kids happy and the adults! The adults were in the shade under the pavilion wile the young ones played. They also have a walking trail and there were horses in a fence on the backside of the trail. The paved walking path is asphalt high off the ground, a potential hazard if you go over the edge. The asphalt is hot in the sun on warm days. There's a short natural path with shade.

Lights are extremely bright. Ideally they would be on only when people are playing sports.

Good to have a bat house. Natural predators are the best way to control mosquitoes.
