The Lalumondiere Mill & Rivergardens — Local services in Meramec Township

We had our wedding at the Lalumondiere in October 2019, and it was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Jeannie and Jim for hosting us! The Lalumondiere is their home and I will forever be envious that they get to live in this magical place! It was the only "venue" we looked at when planning our wedding and we knew right away it was the one for us. Go tour it if you're interested; you have to see it in person to realize all of its beauty! If you want a smaller outdoor ceremony and reception, this is THE place to do it. It matched our laidback "let's just get together" vibe and then exceeded our expectations with its beautiful rushing water, lush green space and coziness. Jeannie and Jim were helpful and kind and did so much work throughout our 2 years of planning to help us have this day. When we met them, we instantly knew they'd be awesome people to work closely with and that made a huge difference. All of our family, friends and guests raved about our event and the property. Sammy was a pleasure to work with. The venue was so beautiful we were able to keep our decorations costs to a minimum. And having the wedding and reception in the same beautiful place was gorgeous and convenient.

One bit of advice though: I'd avoid using the local liqour store they recommend (Red Door), I like supporting local businesses but we just didn't have a good experience with them (way overcharging, slow reponses to questions, very limited selection, etc). Ended up just bringing our own from Total Wine who, instead of over charging us, actually gave us a discount because we bought so much and then let us return any that we didn't use. Lalumondiere is the perfect venue for a wedding! My husband and I got married here in May and loved it. Everything about the venue is unique and we fell in love with it, along with the owners on our first tour. We could tell they cared about all the couples they have get married there and were very helpful with recommending vendors that have been there before. The venue has so many amazing spots, from the rooms upstairs for first looks with parents, to the bridge overlooking the mill, to the metal bird cage structure we had our ceremony under, we were blown away with how magical the space was.
