CaZo Dance Center — Local services in Mesa

CaZo Dance is a place full of wonderfully invested instructors and acceptance of what it means to be a beginner. We started taking lessons as a family from Bridgett almost a year ago, just once a week since we live quite a ways from the studio. She was super patient with us and our kiddos, was flexible with teaching us different dance styles (east/west coat swing, waltz and preparing for a talent show). She is always positive and cares about our family. We had our girls attend 3 weeks of dance camp with Miss Becca and all 3 of them loved their experience. They feel more confident in starting their new school, they experienced building a show from the ground up and have a better idea of what the learning journey really entails - especially when trying to get our bodies to do new things. I go to CaZo Dance Theatre on Saturdays for the Adult Contemporary classes. I have never danced in my life, but at the tender age of 53 decided I needed to try dance. So, I jumped in at another studio and loved it. I knew immediately I needed to dance more than once a week, so I found CaZo and attended my first class with Amber as the instructor. She is amazing! So thoughtful, so patient with a clunky old beast like me and I appreciate it so much. I love going there. I went to the murder mystery fundraiser and watched the performances of all the dancers and thought how wonderful it would be to be able to move like that. I am so grateful for Cazo Dance Center! A bit of back story, I started ballet somewhere else when I was 12 and haven't grown much in dance for years. That's when my mom found Cazo Dance Center. I have grown so much after just one private class with Mrs. Bridget, the owner of Cazo Dance Center. Mrs. Becca, another amazing dance instructor, also helped grow my strength in dance in a group class. Both instructors are accommodating to my scoliosis by taking time to figure out what works best for me.
