Dallas College Eastfield Campus — Local services in Mesquite

I never thought I would be writing a review about this place but today I have been driven too. I graduated from this dump in May 2016 and today I received an email from them saying that I owed them money. I know this is incorrect since as I said earlier I'm a graduate and when you owe money for classes or haven't paid while on a payment plan you are either automatically dropped by the system for non-payment or you get a quick email stating that you've missed a payment. So, I check my econnect account and come to find that they are claiming that I owe almost $3,000 for Fall 2015, if I owed that money then I wouldn't have been allowed to register for Fall 2016 or Spring 2016 or Summer 2016! I'm honestly furious, I never really liked this place when I was a student because frankly I consider their advisors to be terrible but now I absolutely despise this place. I DON'T OWE THEM MONEY! Frankly, I would advise anyone considering going here to look elsewhere. I'd even suggest vocational school or the art institute versus going here. BE WARNED! DO NOT GO HERE! Their staff is rude and unprofessional, if you want to go to Community College then go out of district. Yes, it'll cost more but I'm sure you'll have a better experience both personally and educationally. I wish I could give...

I started my second year at EFC this year. I can say with all honesty that I love this school! I love the professors and faculty, my fellow students are all great too. Easy to talk to people here. If you ever need help in a subject you can just visit the Prof. during office hrs and they'll help you. The librarians are great too! The Business Office ladies are amazing, I had a problem with my tuition money and they were happy to help. STEM division is great also. Ms. Phyllis is so kind and helpful, and the STEM Academic Dean is friendly. Oh, and can't forget the janitorial team, they are the best!!! So kind, never grumpy, and always have the place clean. I'm sure they appreciate a "hello" or "thank you" from time to time.

Beth J,the Success Coach, literally comes off as racist and absolutely disrespectful to students. She called the police on me just because I came in and asked for help regarding the GRE class. She didn't greet me or even speak to me nicely. The police showed up and even caught her in a full lie. I will NEVER EVER take a class here nor anywhere with Dallas College. Your Work Ready U Team is dishonest and unorganized. Call Center trues to help but all the information they sent regarding Beth's Assistant Dean was incorrect when I called his number. I went through absolute hell and had a panic attack because of the rudeness and clearly, Beth being an employee who got in my face and literally threw things in her office....and all I wanted was help. She tried to have me arrested for what? Clearly she was in the wrong and it didn't sit well with the police. Making sure to contact the head dean of the entire school and they will be hearing from my attorney soon. Just don't even attend here. Go somewhere else where you'll be respected and the employees don't yell and...
