Quality Inn & Suites North Mesquite I-30 — Hotel in Mesquite

This was the cheapest hotel I have ever saw. The hair dryer was missing. Iron was missing. The bathroom door was broken. The bed sheet was burnt. Someone may have smoked before in that room. Also found a black spot So, please whenever you check in to your room please make sure all of those things are all good. If not then please report to the manager of that hotel otherwise you never know you could be responsible for those damages.

WORST BREAKFAST!! The breakfast was the worst! Their contemporary breakfast time starts from 6:00 am to 9:00am. And I went to have my breakfast around 7:00am or 7:30am. I was so surprised when I saw the breakfast menu!! They just had corn fleks, milk, sweet buns, cupcakes & apple juice. The machine for orange juice was out of order. There were 3 empty trays.

I went to the front desk and ask about the breakfast. So I asked, " Good morning ma'am, are those for the breakfast??" And she was busy with her phone and replied like "Yeah!" As if they are maintaining standard quality for contemporary breakfast! That employee was busy with her phone while she was responding to me! So rude!!

My husband and I booked reservations with Quality Inn & Suites North Mesquite I-30 off of Sorrento Dr. in Mesquite, Texas. a day in advance thinking that the hotel was going to be to our satisfaction. We get there and see that the atmosphere feels unsafe and makes me feel very uncomfortable. A middle age woman looking early or late 60’s and middle eastern reassured us that we would get our $100 deposit back. We called her that night too and decided we would not stay there because it felt unsafe and asked her about a refund. She claimed that they do not handle refunds and that I need to talk to Expedia. Since I went through my college for a discount, I reached out to them through email. A man name James Patel, who is a Travel Services Case Specialist contacted me. He put me on hold to call that hotel to see if they would refund me the $237.67 that was debited from our card. The hotel said, “they could not honor the refund.” We will never give them a penny! The atmosphere made me uncomfortable and we felt VERY unsafe. We did NOT use their services at all and basically they ran away with free money. 💰 I truly believe in the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”Dishonesty and fraud get no one nowhere! I was able to sign in early, you do pay a fee since it's before check in time, 3pm. The gentleman that assisted me that morning was very helpful, friendly, attentive, nice, and communicative. He explained why I was paying so much and the check in and check out times. He made conversation with me while also checking me in... Most people just check you and you leave, no small talk just business. For it being 7am he was very happy, helpful, and friendly! Service was great! The room could use a good restroom cleaning, sweep and mop, and fresh towels (mine had a few red stains on it). Besides all that, the rooms are great! Can't complain otherwise. I do love the location since it overlooks the town and highway... I'm from the RGV so it's definitely a site! I was able to see 6-7 airplanes in the sky, the city lights, and hear the traffic!
