Miami Ocean Tours — Local services in Miami

I wish I could review our boat tour but unfortunately it was cancelled with no warning, so we never got to go. We booked a tour on the website weeks in advance, received a confirmation email immediately, and a reminder email one day before. When we showed up for our tour, I called the company to let them know we were there but they said our reservation had been cancelled due to being double booked. They said that they sent me a cancellation email, but I had never received it. An employee then forwarded me the cancellation email but it was never sent to MY email, only THEIRS. The cancellation email that was forwarded was also only processed 1 day earlier.

I get that these things happen, but clearly there was an error with the website (which let us book in the first place) AND the email system that never sent the cancellation. The employee who cancelled the tour also didn’t think to call us when they cancelled the reservation 1 day before the scheduled time.

We asked if there was another time we could reschedule to. The employee said we could text him to schedule a time for the next day. We did text him but never received a reply, so unfortunately our boat plans for Miami never got to happen.

Based on other reviews, Henry seems like a great boat captain, so we feel bad leaving this poor review. But please be aware if you book with this company (especially if you book online), make sure to CALL...

Great boat, very spacious and smooth ride and an even better captain in Henry! He brings everything you need to have a great time out on the water, from his experience driving the boat and navigating Miami’s waterways, to his preparedness in always having towels coolers ice sunscreen etc. in case you forget to bring them.
