East Side Fresh Meat & Produce — Local services in Michigan City

A week before Christmas I called around to get pricing on beef tenderloins. I was quoted $21.99 per pound so I placed on order for a 3lb tenderloin. Once I got home with the tenderloin, I thought it was rather pricey. I looked at the tag and I was charged $29.99 per pound. I called immediately and was told I was given incorrect information. The $21.99 was for a different cut and I was charged correctly on my purchase. On Christmas Eve when I took the tenderloin out of the bag to prepare for dinner, the tenderloin was in the shape of a football, not the cylinder shape I am accustomed to plus the tenderloin looked like it was in two halves. I clipped the string to find a very poorly cut of meat. (Please see pictures below). Because of the shape, it did not roast evenly. The store doesn't even deserve one star except for a couple of the employees who were polite. It was one lady I assume she was the wife of the owner in a burqa or whatever you want to call it watching me go down the aisle like I'm going to steal something. Now I drive a semi and I made sure to park completely out of everyone's way didn't block anything not even the sign although it says no truck parking I went inside and spent almost $50. Just as I put everything away and was ready to take off, the owner pulls up and starts screaming at me to get out of his parking lot. I told him I just went in there a shop and he said he didn't care I was blocking his sign which towered above my semi and you can still see it for miles. All in all I urge everyone to never go...
