DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!! I had a prescription sent to them by my doctor and verified that it was covered by my insurance company. When I called J&L they argued with me about the coverage saying I had to bring the failing machine to them to prove that it was failing. My insurance company went as far as to call them and they still argued about the coverage! Needless to say I never got my CPAP machine replaced. Fast forward 2 months... J&L began calling me saying that they were calling me about replacing my machine. LMAO! Really??? Ok great. right?? Nope... First I was informed that I had a $300 dollar co-pay that needed to be covered before I could get the machine and once that was paid they would send me paperwork to sign electronically and ship the machine. I ended calling my insurance company who verified that I had met my deductible and that no payment was due. After waiting a day for J&L to call my insurance and verify that I was right, I was promised the forms would be sent to me. 3 days later nothing! I called and left a message with their answering service requesting a call back. Not surprisingly no return call. A week later and I finally get the email I've been waiting for. I could find many words to describe this company but they would get this review blocked and me banned from Google! They never came by finding out thru a text they were coming tomorrow instead. I was furious coz no one told me they didn't come and to reschedule. Everything is thru text. I want someone to tell me. So I said forget it. One rep told Nicole said my dad wasn't approve for portable battery operated oxygen then few days later she said he's approve what?! Another thing different customer service rep said they called me left Voicemail but I told them several times I never got phone or voicemail from them . I looked at the times and date nothing. One elderly rep said " maybe your voicemail is full you should check it"

So I scheduled to deliver portable battery oxygen for Monday and I told reps to not leave voicemail and speak directly to me . So one Monday I waited till 330 I jad to reschedule coz I had to to somewhere important at last min. Today they confirmed my appt today but no call from Jay the deliverer . Read moreMy experience with J&L Medical in Middlebury, CT has been a time consuming and frustrating series of attempts to speak with 1) a live person and 2) someone who is competent, knowledgeable, and concerned enough about their customers to provide accurate information in a timely fashion.
I was fitted for a CPAP on-site on Feb 24, with a largely satisfactory outcome except that I needed a smaller size headgear for the unit, which J&L did not have in stock. I was told it would be “ordered” for me and shipped to my home. Meanwhile, I’ve been attempting to use the CPAP with the headgear I was sent home with, which isn’t working well at all.
Three weeks have passed. I still haven’t received the right sized headgear. To date I have contacted J&L 5 different times to confirm the status of the order. Three of those phone calls were placed today because twice my calls were transferred to a supply house in Clearwater FL, which doesn’t supply headgear. I’ve been on the phone for 21 minutes and talked to 4 different people without getting an answer. The last call I made resulted in my “talking” to a bot, which went nowhere. I told said bot that I was going to leave them a bad review and hung up.
I ended up contacting my pulmonologist’s office to advise them about my experience so the docs stop referring patients to J&L. While I was on the phone with the doctor’s office J&L decided to call me back. I did not take the call. Too...
