I’m pregnant and went to Dr.Streeter for blood pressure issues during my pregnancy. He gave me three routes and ensured that each supplement and medication he recommended was entirely safe and had NO SIDE-EFFECTS. I went home and researched the medications and one of which had a side effect of fetal death and brain development issues. The research wasn’t little, it was outstanding and unfathomable. He even mentioned that if the recommended dose wasn’t enough to drop my pressure that I could take more because it is completely safe and has zero side-effects. Those are some pretty big side effects if you ask me. It was even one of the top medications not recommended for pregnant people and advised pregnant women to seek medical help immediately if on that medication.

I’m extremely saddened and heartbroken by this. I was so happy during my appointment that he was offering routes that were “safe” for both me and my baby. He made me feel confident in his abilities and wisdom. I just can’t believe I almost listened and could’ve had the worst side-effect possible resulting in the death of my son. Stay safe and do your own research.

Edit: Jerry from Northern Nutrition called to rectify the situation and placed multiple medical reports on Dr.Streeter’s desk to educate him on the dangers of the drug he prescribed. Jerry was wonderful and extremely apologetic. He offered many resolutions. I’m still leaving the review because Dr.Streeter is practicing at this establishment, although he is not affiliated with northern nutrition. Stopped in to a local Northern Nutrition outlet in Shipshewana, looking for powdered items in bulk. They did not carry any bulk items. Then they told me that their main store carried bulk items. And!! It was only a couple miles away. So, away I went.. I found everything I was looking for except for powdered Stevia leaf and Spearmint leaf. But at least I was able to get the three things I was looking for and a couple more! I got there late and they closed while I was looking at all of the Star West Botanical bulk items. Which I was happy to see. Personally, I have found that Star West Botanical's has a very large, if not the largest, selection of bulk powdered items. Instead of kicking me out after they closed and shut down the register. They opened the register again and helped me with the items I wanted. Yeah, I will be back.
