Chef Capaldi is Excellent in every way!!! The food was AMAZING!!! and though that is the most important aspect of having a good meal (and the only aspect I was even expecting) it is in all the other ways Chef Capaldi is amazing that truly made the experience unforgettable and we will DEFINITELY be having more dinner parties with Chef Capaldi!!!

Chef came to my house right at 6pm when my five guests (girls I studied abroad in Rome with 15 years ago all visiting from different parts of the country!) were in the process of just coming back from a day at the beach (I was actually still in the shower!) AND my two kids were running around like crazy! He took it all in stride he sort of read the room and went to work. For me it was amazing that he just took charge! Looked in my drawers and found everything he needed leaving me to get ready and then to just enjoy the amazing dinner he put on with my friends!

We also had a pregnant, shell fish allergy, vegetarian in our group and Chef made it so easy for the menu to cater to both her and the rest of the group! We also had one friend showing up around 8pm so he started us with apps and then was just so so so flexible with the timing for the rest of the meal. We never felt rushed at all!! He also made sure the "late" friend got the apps we also enjoyed. He cooked two different pastas for us instead of just one for the pasta course so we could try different things!

He was communicative and talkative; he was also so easy going and independent that he strikes the perfect balance between being approachable and also letting us catch up and have this unforgettable dinner.

At first I was somewhat hesitate of having a dinner prepared for my birthday at home, when we could just go out. Boy was I wrong.

Chef Capaldi's food was sensational with some of his Italian favorites. Just as important, he made us feel special by explaining the meal, some wonderful anecdotes regarding his interpretation of each dish. Many of his ingredients were either home grown or sent by his family currently in Rome. Needless to say that the flavor and presentation was "molte bene."

Having a personalized 5 course dinner with special friends in our own dining room with my beloved dog next to me on the floor was a great experience that no restaurant could match. My friends and I talked about our lives and also deep thought on the dish currently served.

We loved having Chef Capaldi cook for us in our home for my mom’s birthday! Gianluca and David made it a really special night for our family with both their food and their company. It was a very personalized experience, starting with Gianluca sending us 4 menu suggestions that we got to pick and choose from to make it more customized to our tastes. He was also very flexible in catering to any special dietary preferences we had. We had to peel ourselves away from the tasty, beautiful Tagliere all'Italiana cheese and meat board starter to save room for the rest of the amazing dishes we had during the night. The presentation of all the dishes was amazing and the collective favorite was definitely the homemade bolognese sauce. To finish off the night, we had espresso and a yummy limoncello supplied by a local vendor.
