I didn’t even want to put one star, at first they were very nice and I hoped genuine. My fiancé was pregnant and we needed a suv and we really liked the Volkswagen we got and they did all they could do to get us in it. We were very thankful , but we didn’t even drive it a month and white smoke started blowing out the exhaust and the oil light came on. I asked if it was serviced before we got it and I was told yes so if the mechanic seen anything wrong you would think they would fix it right? Well I called velocity and they told me to take it to their mechanic : Howells automotive, so I did. The mechanic called back a couple days later and says the turbo is bad and it’s gonna cost $3000. I told them I was gonna get a second opinion so I took it to techway automotive. Techway said it was 3 quarts low on oil not even a month after getting it. They continued to tell me they called Volkswagen dealership and Volkswagen said it was normal for it to consume that much oil. Me and the techway representative both knew that was a lie. Techway filled the oil up and gave me a paper saying after 600 miles take it to Volkswagen , I said okay thank you. 500 miles later oil light comes back on so I myself bought 6 quarts of oil and put 5 into it. The Volkswagen continued to smoke, so we called eurotech , provided them the warranty’s and they proceeded to say there’s nothing they can do it’s a cracked engine. I will never go through velocity again it’s been a hassle every since I got it, and now I’m paying $700 on a car that can’t get fixed unless I buy a whole new motor. So now I have to do a voluntary repossession and it’s gonna be on my credit because I’m throwing money down the drain....
