The process of buying our home was great. Titan was really helpful and covered lots of details. Once we closed on our home, our experience was very different. First, some bees had nested in our house when it was on the lot in Midland. We were told the bees would be removed before delivery, but they ended up being delivered with our house. Second, the process of getting electricity hooked up to our home was a nightmare, which to clarify was not Titan’s fault. We had to have new poles installed, and the permit process through the county along with working with our local electric company took much longer than anticipated. We were told by Titan not to worry and to just let them know when we had electricity, so they could schedule someone to come hook up our utilities. Third, one of the drivers who delivered our home recommended an independent contractor to come finish our “Red Carpet Trim Out.” He said the crew from Titan’s Midland office does not come to the El Paso area where we’re located very often, and having the independent contractor might get our trim out done more quickly. Plus, the independent contractor could build porches and steps. We thought it was a good deal for both us and for Titan. The independent contractor came, started the trim out, and left. He came intermittently for a couple months and then quit showing up entirely. We couldn’t get him on the phone to see when he would come back, only to find out he was on another job before ours was even completed. We let Titan know, and they agreed to terminate the independent contractor’s contract and send someone else to finish the trim out. This included finishing our roof, checking our hot water heater which had been tripping off, replacing our electric fireplace which had shorted out, and looking at our AC which has been freezing up. A lot of the finish out work done by the independent contractor also has not lasted. For example, repairs done to cracks in the wall have started to re-crack. We called time after time and were told that so-and-so would call us back and send someone out. Most recently, we were told that our warranty was expired, and Titan could no longer help us out even though we’ve only been living in our home for 6 months and our ticket for repairs had not be closed. We ended up having to go through our insurance to get our roof fixed, and still no phone call from Titan or the factory to continue to resolve our final issues. Titan prides themselves on customer service and regularly reminded us that we would be happy in the end. Customer service includes difficult situations like ours turned out to be. I understand that our location and situation was very unique to what Titan typically deals with and probably more costly to send a crew out to finish our home. But, I feel like Titan told us what we wanted to hear without following through once they had their sale. Most everyone we spoke with was very polite, but they haven’t been reliable about communication. My husband and I have waited for years to get a home we’d love, and we thought Titan would be the best fit once the opportunity to get a new home finally came. As long as what you ask of Titan is local and easy, your experience should be satisfactory. Read moreSave your money and do not buy from this place. Where do I even begin with the issues we have had? First, they delivered the house and set it up without a permit from the city and without even notifying us at all. They knew they did not have a permit yet but still went ahead and placed the house. Second after placing said home the people responsible for actually piecing it together and making sure everything was actually completed didn't do their job. We made sure to write everything on the paper and it took literal months before anyone was ever sent out to come correct the mistakes. We have had to get people sent out multiple times as well because they never fix all the issues or half do it (make it look good or done but didn't actually fix it) Just a few issues we have had/are still having were the wiring on all the plugs were miswired causing four plugs to be completely unusable for months, there was and still is absolutely no caulking around the windows, doors or bathroom areas causing major leaks and drafts (including from the skylight), there is an inch of space between the carpet and wall in one room, a few drawers are not aligned so one side is always out and falling, the shingles are not placed correctly at all causing them to be blown away every time the wind picks up the slightest (and I do mean slightest), there were tiny staples left everywhere even though the paperwork said they would clean up after themselves, there were numerous areas around the outside of the house that were broken and instead of replacing the trim like we were told they would they put caulk in it and painted over it. I could go on for a while. I honestly try not to be too picky and my standards were not set high to begin with but some of these could cause major issues later on. With the money we are paying I expect them to at least complete what they were supposed to and correctly.

Read moreWhen we landed at Titan, I had already been through the initial application process at two seperate companies. Neither of which were actually willing to help or even a pleasant experience once we got to the nitty gritty. I had honestly lost hope of purchasing a home this year. Initially, I went to Titan looking for a repo on their lot but unfortunately that home had already been sold. Tina lost no time helping me look at other repos- even ones not on their lot & assured me she could still help me purchase one if I chose to have her help. Ms. Tina never pressured me, she understood my needs & genuinely showed interest in helping me. After viewing a few of their lot models, we decided to put in a new application with Titan & ultimately purchased my new 2022 single wide!! Tina is such a pleasant person to work with-she was always available when I had a question or concern about anything. The GM Brandon was on top of everything, ensuring the whole process went as smoothly as possible. Our closing had a hiccup but Marissa worked diligently with the bank & patiently with us!
