I’d like to preface this by saying we bought our vehicle 2 1/2 weeks ago. Last weekend we got a flat and needed to change it out with the spare provided with the vehicle when purchased. The spare had no pressure and was a poor replacement based on the width compared to our actual tires. We were unable to use the spare so we had to call a tow 2 hours away. We reached out to the dealership to discuss compensation for either a new tire or a replacement spare. We were told by Sharon, the person who sold us the car, “how are we supposed to know whether the spare did or didn’t have air in it when it left the lot”. Well how you would know is if y’all did your due diligence and checked to make sure the spare being sold with the care was useable if needed. We asked about the 30 day coverage we supposedly had. When we were in the financial office we were told that it covered “bumper to bumper incidents” but when asking about our coverage a second time it turned into coverage for “mechanics within the vehicle”. While neither of those apply to our incident with the spare, those are two completely different types of damage, so nobody we spoke to about our coverage was on the same page. We were given no help with the spare and the dealership didn’t take any reponsibilty for sending us off with a crap replacement. While we understand that the puncture in our tire was likely due to us running something over, the fact that we received zero help with a replacement spare after buying the car 2 weeks ago is just horrible business. Being stranded without a reliable spare in the middle of nowehere in the dead of summer can be dangerous for anyone, but I’m also 9 months pregnant (something the salesperson was aware of). Moving forward, we continue discussing the fact that our windshield has a crack in it, something we didn’t notice initially since it is towards the bottom of the windshield by the dash. Damage that was there before taking the car off the lot, proven by time stamped pictures that were taken in the lot. When asking if this could be remedied we were told “that should’ve been negotiated when buying the vehicle” even though it was never brought up when test driving or discussing the details of the vehicle when we were negotiating price. After discussing the spare tire and windshield damage, we were told “you have to expect some kinks when buying a used vehicle”. We should’ve known this was the type of spotty customer service when the car was taken back for a detail clean after papers were signed, and given back to us with food and candy all over the floor left by the previous owner. We requested it be taken back again for a better clean and received it a second time with food all over the floor. Sharon then told my husband “yeah they kind of half ass the cleanings”. We are so disappointed with this dealership and wish we would’ve bought our vehicle somewhere else. If you want quality, honest, reliable, and thorough customer service when buying a used vehicle, I suggest...
Read moreI would not ever recommend this place. I stoped at this dealership one day to look at a truck, agreed on a price, and drove home. Keep in mind I live an hour away out of town, which was disclosed to this salesman. 2 days later I inform the salesmen that when I got off work at 4:00pm that I would purchase the vehicle. I get there about 5:00pm, as discussed he got the wheel assembly swapped from another truck on the lot, then I test drove it. Go inside to start finalizing the paperwork and he wants my SS, I said no I have a pre-approved loan through my bank. He’s at a loss of words “facial expression,” I told him I could forward you the email of with the PDF from my bank, he stated “ I need to talk to my manager I’ve never had this happen” Now the time is around 6:45pm. He comes back to the desk tells me we can finalize paperwork but they can’t release the vehicle to me until Monday. So they can call the bank and verify. I said that fine we can finalize the paperwork now, but you’re delivering the truck because I’m not driving again a 2 hour round trip to pick it up. 30 min later I finally get to talk to the Brent Poso the finance professional. He states “it is against our policy to sell a vehicle with a pre-approval bank loan when my bank is closed” I said okay. We get to the down payment part of the sale and states they charge a 3% fee on credit card transactions in which I was planning to use. I told I’m not making any payment until the day you release the vehicle to me. We can just Docu sign and do everything digitally, Im not driving back here. Brent said we can’t do Docu sign, I said then fax it, he states “can’t do that either,” it has to be wet ink. Please keep in mind his tone voice was harsh, rude, and he rolled his eyes. Unwilling to work with me to purchase this vehicle. So my issues are, a)they never disclosed on there website nor did the salesmen state, there would be a 3% charge for credit card transactions, b) that it is not possible to purchase a vehicle after 4:30pm Monday -Friday (since banks are closed) if your financing with another bank c) Joel Loya the sales manager for not properly training new staff to do there job. The whole experience was atrocious, and excruciating. The lack of training and the lack disclosing of Lithia LLC policy’s. Maybe you just can’t expect good service from a rural town,...
Read moreA sloppy incompetence! We had agreed to purchase a truck on Friday 07/20/18. We sent a text to our salesman to confirm purchase and arrival that night as it was a 2 hour drive. We arrived when they opened at8:30 am. My husband had already signed one document when the sales manger approached him to let him know they would not honor that price that they had to get sticker price those were his words. No mind you we had only agreed 1, 900 below sticker price. My husband said no that he would leave. When stood there for a moment while the floor manager explained that he didn’t recall agreeing to this, never once an apology for this miscommunication or misunderstanding. He did not care about the text and the document already signed. When we walked out another man was there to look at the truck my husband had planned to buy. To me it seemed planned that they were assuming the men one of them would agree to sticker price on this truck which had a wreck on its car fax. We left and I did reach out to the main manager he did call me but not to correct this mistake or even admit that his staff had clearly messed up but to tell me that the truck was priced under value that he had multiple offers on a truck that had been sitting for over 105 days! He said the truck was more than that when he bought it at auction and he was going to get more for it. I was honest I told him I didn’t care if he made money I cared that they had it listed for a price online that he admitted he wouldn’t honor and that his staffed had agreed to a deal then refused to honor it even though it was in writing. Upon returning home we were searching for trucks again only to see the dealership had raised the price by 12.00 to an even 64,000.00 so clearly the other man did not buy it and if he had other offers why still have it listed and raise the price. Over all they all seem to be liars. After reading their Facebook reviews I can say I am glad we left! What a shame midland continues to support...
