UPDATE (11/23/2023): Once again Cross Creek has excelled and greatly exceeded our expectations. Due to weather and limited daylight, the Cross Creek team was unable to pick up leaves they had blown to the street the day before Thanksgiving. Rather than leaving them until after the holiday, Cross Creek showed up on Thanksgiving morning and cleared the street before family members started to arrive. This level of service and dedication is unheard of today and deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

The team Cross Creek sent out to refresh our existing mulch beds, replace a dead tree, and create two additional plant beds did a fantastic job. While we always receive outstanding service from Cross Creek, including regular lawn maintenance, our experience yesterday exceeded our expectations in every way. Despite the weather being less than optimal (damp, cool, and rain throughout the day), the team showed up, checked to make sure we were all in agreement as to what was to be done, and went about doing the job. Very pleasant to work with and exercised great care in every aspect of their work. Even when we asked for a different tree to be planted than was delivered to the site, they did not balk or hesitate to make sure we were happy. And the crew at the Courthouse Rd. location helped us select an alternative and had it delivered within the hour. At the end of the day (and despite the wet weather and mud) they made sure any questions we had were addressed and left the property as they found it, cleaning up the driveway and sidewalks and ensuring the outdoor accent lights were clear of mulch. We recently had a rather large residential project completed with bushes, flowering shrubs and grasses. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome. The finished product was completed in a timely manner. The yard was mulched and cleaned up well. I was particularly pleased with the flexibility and helpfulness of Zack and his guys. They were very patient and accommodating in helping make alterations and sharing ideas to the original plan as the planting was done. One downside that we experienced was in the original renderings of the overall plan. While the project plan was very professional and the renderings were excellent for us to visualize the final product, the number of plants and the placement of the plants was greatly over estimated. We had to adapt the plan to the space available and sent back a great many plants. There was literally no room for all the plants on the plan. It ended well but it took a lot of time to rearrange the original plan. We were promptly re-billed for the lesser number of plants and the decreased labor cost with no hassles. It would have been nice to have the person who originally did the plan come out and help us adapt the plan. The other issue that irked me was that the cost of the plants was marked up from the cost of the available on the retail lot. They charged for plants, delivery, installation, etc and I would have thought that with the number of plants involved we would have gotten a discount and not a surcharge! I will probably use Cross Creek again for another project and would certainly recommend them to others but will be more observant of...

So I called this place to try and make an appointment to get an estimate because they had very high ratings here on Google. Unfortunately my experience was not as great. The customer service was extremely lacking. I called yesterday and spoke to a girl and explained I was looking to get an estimate for some sod installation and some other miscellaneous Landscaping projects around my property . She then put me through to someone's voice mail name Austin. I left a voicemail with a similar message that I was interested in an estimate for sod installation and various Landscaping projects. Nobody called me back. I called them again this morning and spoke to the girl again and asked her if somebody could please help me she then put me on hold and Austin got on the phone.

I had explained that I had left a message yesterday and that I was interested in trying to get an estimate for sod installation and some other miscellaneous projects. He interrupted and said that if I was only looking for sod installation that they probably weren't the right people. Even though I had already mentioned several times that there were other Landscaping projects that I wanted to get done. I was not happy at all with his demeanor and seeming implication that I wasn't worth the time and effort .
