I’ve been a loyal customer of Jeremy Hessler for over four years now, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my meat. About a year ago, Jeremy moved to Matti’s Fresh Market in Milford. Even though it’s a 12-mile drive for me — passing several other meat markets along the way — it’s absolutely worth the extra time to get to him.

Jeremy doesn’t just sell meat; he’s a true craftsman. He always takes the time to recommend the best cuts and even offers expert tips on how to cook them — sometimes even seasoning them for me right there on the spot. After my parents came over for dinner and tasted the incredible flavor from his seasoning, they were so impressed that they now make the trip to see Jeremy too!

As an added bonus, Matti’s Fresh Market is a clean, well-stocked store with a great selection of products — a big upgrade from the small meat market where I first met Jeremy.

Prices are a little higher than Kroger but it is much worth the little extra you pay for the stress free hassel of grocery shopping. At Kroger it is hard to even push your cart down the aisle without running into something or someone. Between all the people and all the aisle set ups they have, it becomes a very big stressful project just to push your cart down any aisle. I much rather go down the road to a less stress induced shopping experience and enjoy my time. And even it though it seems like prices are a little higher, you'd be surprised how much you can actually save....
