Milford Independent Cinema — Local services in Milford Charter Township

First I want to thank Milford Cinema for simply just being here. The admission prices, drink, and food prices are more than fair. Maybe the place isn't huge, but it definitely is roomy. The staff is amazingly friendly. I'm a first timer and do plan on coming back. It felt good to be able to drive a short distance from home to catch a movie without needing to plan a trip. For some reason, I felt as it I relived something from my childhood, but the place up to date. It's a bit of nostalgia to head to Milford to go to the Cinema, but the renovations and reiteration as an Independent Cinema with events like documentary film showing with discussion with the filmmaker make this a destination in its own right.

As it always was, this is a smaller venue. There are many 'classic' movies on the books (which were made at a time when they were only expected to be shown on a big screen), but I also saw information about renting the space for corporate or family events.

This is a family owned, single screen theater. It definitely could use some updating. I personally would start with the seats. Not the most comfortable seats. However, the man who runs it is kind, polite and loves his theater. Instead of having to travel to Novi and sit in a massive theater packed full of people I very much enjoyed driving down the street and seeing the film. The prices are much more affordable than massive theaters as well. Overall I highly recommend. 4 out of 5 simply because I think it is time to get...
