You can buy tickets to enter the woods either online when you buy the parking or when you get there. They have plenty of bathrooms and a cafe and gift shop. The paths are easy to walk and you can pick how far you go. The drive in and out is a little precarious so just take it slow.

The parking at 1 Muir Woods Rd is convenient and well-organized, making access to the beautiful Muir Woods easy. However, it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends, so arriving early is a good idea. Overall, a great spot to start your adventure in Muir Woods. Four stars!

EV charging was booked up, then when we were leaving we saw 3 Rivian chargers there but these two people were parked there but not charging, taking up the space for those of us who would have plugged in. Only the Bolt was actually charging.
