Read moreI recently had an issue with a chlorine pellet tank on my water softener system. It was leaking water from a valve. A company I used for many years and who installed the original tank came out and replaced the tank. The owner of that company made mention that my pressure tank was in need of replacement. I asked for an estimate on a new tank. The estimate came in at a price I thought was too high. I called Joe at Admiral Water. Told him I needed a new pressure tank. We discussed the type of tank, and he gave me a price substantially cheaper then the other company. I asked him to go ahead and do it and schedule a date for install. Install day arrives and two technicians from Admiral Water arrive. One loads my new tank and brings it in to the house. The main technician asks a few questions about the old tank, starts backwashing the system to watch the pressure switch cycle. This person comes to the conclusion that there is nothing wrong with my tank, says it’s working normally, and doesn’t think it needs to replaced yet. They could very easily have just installed the tank. They took the time to look at the old tank first. They gave up a decent payday just being honest, decent people.
