Cornerstone Music Studios — Local services in Millstone Township

I just wanted to take the time to sing the praises for Cornerstone Music in Millstone Township, NJ. My 5 year old granddaughter started semi private piano lessons last winter. When I called for the first time, I was lucky enough to reach Laura, the owner & founder of the studio. She and I spoke for quite some time about what exactly I was looking for my granddaughter, Josie. She really listened to what I was saying, and she had a great staff member, Dylan, contact me to set up a initial lesson for her. Once we decided what type of program we wanted to have Josie start with, we couldn’t have been more pleased! We were blessed to have Miss Jayne as Josie’s instructor. Josie thrived in her class, along with another little girl of the same age. We can not believe that Josie is now actually able to read music, and play it on the piano! And, the little recitals they have for the students are a wonderful way to have your child learn self confidence and expression. Josie, being a bit on the shy side, placed all her trust in Miss Jayne during the recitals, and believe me, Miss Jayne literally held her hand every step of the way! I can not express our appreciation enough for these wonderful, nurturing people at Cornerstone Music. If you have a child of any age, think about giving them the gift of music and self expression. The lessons learned, the music shared and the friendships developed at Cornerstone Music Studios are precious and now after almost two decades since my son's first piano lesson with Laura Hines Wittman, clearly a sound investment. His appreciation for music is directly connected to what he learned and experienced while making music on his very own piano. The early introduction to music for our children is an essential part of childhood development and we are fortunate to have such a welcoming learning environment here in Millstone Township. And also a great place for adults to brush up on their musical skills, as was the case for me, or start something new and exciting...as I dream of...

Cornerstone is more than an amazing music studio, it's a talented and nurturing community that truly invests their time, talent, and commitment to help musicians thrive. It's been just about a year since my son started here and the growth we have seen not just musically but also within his confidence has been a truly positive shift. We feel very blessed to be part of this amazing musical family. Every staff that we have interacted with has been wonderful and goes above and beyond.
