If you don’t like kids, just say so. My daughter (who is 3) was so excited to get a balloon animal made by Mike at a recent event. She sat on one of the buckets and I immediately noticed the demeanor of the man (Mike) who was making the balloons. He very rudely told her if she wants a balloon made she needs to move down to the bucket closest to him or she would not be getting anything. She was nervous but moved down. She has a stutter that she receives speech therapy for and it’s hard for her to build the confidence to speak to others. He asked her what animal she wanted and she started stuttering saying “I want” repeatedly. He interrupted her and said “Yep I got that part by now”. He was clearly annoyed. My heart broke for her at that moment. She shut down and I had to speak for her. Very disappointing and unprofessional. This is not the first time I have heard complaints of this man being “grouchy” and rude. I hope you find a little more compassion and will be more welcoming of kids who have...

We recently rented the train from The Big Blue Trunk for our children's dual birthday party (ages 4 and 2yr) and had the BEST experience. Mr Mike was the star of the show and everyone raved about him. He’s amazing with the children and provided such a fun and unique experience for our event with many personalized touches (like train tickets with the children’s names on them)! His communication prior to and the day of our party was great! We even touched base the day before our event because of expected bad weather and he assured me that unless it was a downpour with thunder/lighting, he would be at our event ready to entertain. It did rain for our party, but that just made having him so much more fun because he had games and other fun activities as well as The Big Blue Express! Hands down the best kids entertainer! My kids LOVE "the mall train" as they call it, haha. We went to his Halloween set up last weekend and all 3 of the kids had so much fun. They never get bored riding the train over and over, and going on the really cool swing ride he made! Not only is this guy great with kids and adults, he is so incredibly talented! His spooky train ride shows just how talented he is because he made basically all the props for it, and they look awesome! There is interactive props that other kids/parents can use while the kids are on the train ride, which was so fun! My son loved being able to drop the big spider down near his big sister when she rode by!
