Three stars only because of our experience today. We are locals, have enjoyed this restaurant for years, and think the food is great, especially for the price. Today, being the new year, a promotion was being advertised as $15 for a breakfast dish and a mimosa. My family and I decided to go today, merely because of this advertisement. We enjoyed our food and drinks, experienced great customer service and overall had a nice experience—Until we received our bill. Apparently, we did not qualify for the promotion. I wasn’t sure why, so I went to the front and asked for them to adjust the bill to the $15 a person. I was told, “oh sorry the specials aren’t included in this promotion”. Mind you, no where does it say this, so I responded with “oh ok, we would have ordered off of the regular menu, as we dine here frequently”. No effort was made to adjust our bill, even though it doesn’t state this anywhere, and the special dishes we ordered were the same cost as our usual orders. Overall, disappointed in the unwillingness to adjust our bill, especially on the first day of the promotion and a holiday. Additionally, we recommend stating that specials aren’t included in this promotion on your menus so future customers don’t get surprised like us. We will likely continue to dine here, but felt like it was appropriate to give feedback regarding this...

I’m normally picky and perhaps “judgmental” when it comes to reviewing food and service at an establishment, so I have to admit I was pretty surprised today. The waitress was nice, fast, great memory, didn’t bombard us constantly, but we always had something to drink and felt taken care of. The food was fast, but it was GOOD. I never go out for breakfast because why pay for something you can make better at home? But this time I was actually surprised, everything was really good and they took other reviews feedback because let me tell you - it was SEASONED! I got strawberry shortcake pancakes, home fries, and a side of biscuit and gravy. My mom got the meal with the eggs, sausage, biscuits, home fries, and a side of French toast. I don’t normally enjoy diner home fries, they’re normally spongy, but these were PERFECT! Nice crisp on the outside and perfect potato textured on the inside, seasoned very well. Everything was very tasty and they actually made my mom over-medium eggs (which I have surprisingly never seen a diner be able to do whenever we order over-medium). Overall, it was just very good and great service and I was impressed enough to leave a review. It could use a renovation to add more room and get new booths as they are extremely tight, but the plus side is that they let you choose your seating so we were able to go to a...

TL;DR: Mediocre diner. Not the worst, certainly far from the best. Best for older people or those with no need for flavor or enjoyment while they eat. Expect a tight fit when the outdoor seating is unavailable.

Seems like the place recently lost a good cook or otherwise lost direction. I cannot understand why people are 5 star reviewing when even their fairly recent photos are showing the similar quality foods that you see at the college dining facilities, and we're paying a moderate price for an average portion!

Some places will season their eggs, or their potatoes, or even their meats, but the omelette I received felt oddly watery.

Its a shame the place without the outdoor seating becomes crowded and cramped.

Coffee is nice, and is served in an actual mug instead of a smaller diner mug (this means you get more, but it stays hotter for longer).

People seem to love this place for a reason but I dont think its there anymore. Im willing to try again if the place...

This place is a real gem! You know that you are in a local diner when there are Polaroid photos of the regulars framed on the walls. Very affordable and great value. Big portions - the side pancake was bigger than the platter that it came on! For $0.65, they stuffed the pancake with so many blueberries! It was 50% purple! I bet they were even local blueberries! We each got a Benedict and my corned beef Benedict was amazing. The yolks were golden and thick and it was not too salty. My wife got the two crab cake Benedict and even though I am a Maryland crab cake snob, they were legit! The staff gave genuinely friendly local service. I hope we get to return to this cute little diner on our way back to the airport in Burlington, Vermont!

Had a local delivery and checked out for breakfast came up quickly. Lots of parking staff friendly and polite helpful I took the special of the day sunrise special with ham and home fries really good tasty I enjoyed a lot. The Diner while I was there has a great flow of locals that had meet up there was certainly a very interesting breakfast. Yes would recommend to anyone it’s a diner good home prepared food. Prices are very reasonable and they are open 7 days a week from early to 8 pm.

Excellent ice cream cones. Heard a lot of hype about this and figured it was worth a stop. Each ice cream special could probably feed 2-3 people but it's hard to want to share. Heaping portions of ice cream with a delicious cone, many toppings, and a tube do squeeze more of the toppings from. Definitely awesome for all ages. Their "normal" stuff looked good too. Great variety of specials, sundaes and cones.
