They dented my stove and also ruined my floor by scratching it upon moving it in. When I called about it they denied it was them caused the damage. I sent them the pictures of my undented stove I took right before the move and they NEVER CALLED BACK. The owner was supposed to call me back so I guess the owner and the employees are unethical and unprofessional despite having a commercial on the radio. The two men who moved the stove in left so quickly after the stove was installed I couldn't even assess the damage before they left so they knew they did it. These aren't even scuffs in my floor like I initially thought they were scratches and when the black finally came off the surface of the floor was dull and noticeably different/damaged.
May 7, 2025...1 year later. The crappiest small business I've ever worked with never contacted me. They admitted their damage on here but never contacted me directly. Not even once. As a customer they have my contact info. I'm adding to my review today because I'm getting my floor replaced. The scuffs/ scratches they made in my floor were not able to be fixed. I'm tired of looking at so I'm replacing the flooring completely. This is the tackiest way to treat a customer. It's clear they were ruffled by my review but not by the fact they did a paying customer wrong.
UPDATE!! The Owner never attempted to remedy the damage his employees caused. To date he's only tried to discredit me by saying my facts were "convoluted", which they are not. My claims are 100% legitimate which is why this matter is now being handled by the Better Business Bureau. It's a shame that once I sent the company my pictures of my undented stove their next move is to blame ME for the damage and peg me, THE PAYING CUSTOMER, as a scammer. How insulting! This is thee worst experience I've ever had with a small business. I couldn't even get the respect of a phone call back. Since this Google review is only response the owner of The Washing Machine Man has ever given this matter my question to him is if my claims seems so illegitimate to him, what do legitimate grievances "seem" like? I promptly reported my damages and sent the proof that was asked of me. Trying to discredit someone who isn't lying about anything as your only tactic as a way to handle grievances caused by your employees- is grossly disrespectful and I'm not going to stand for it. If I have to go to small claims court and chronicle this entire experience on a You Tube channel I...
Read moreMy mom is having the worst experience with this company. Me and my siblings got together to purchase her a stove. Delivery was a hassle, we gave them her work schedule yet they continue to dismiss that and insist on delivering in the time frame she was at work.
However, the real issue comes in because she hasn’t had her stove for 30 days but the oven has completely stop working. We called and told them about the issue and they said they will send someone out to fix it . We gave them her time frame of when she would be available which is from 3pm - 6pm yet they showed up at 2pm .
This place is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of the work schedule my mom has. She had to leave work early because they choose to go off whatever schedule they wanted. You can tell the customer does not come first with this company .
!!!UPDATE!!! So the technician finally was able to look and see what was wrong with my mom’s stove, she told me he was very pleasant and professional. He informed my mom that in order for him to fix her stove he would have to order a special part that could take about two weeks to come. He suggested for her to go up to the store and swap out her stove since he wasn’t able to fix it at that moment.
So my mom took his advice, he pointed out a stove that was similar to the one she already had. My mom then tried to get the stove delivery. However, here is were the unprofessionalism comes into play. My mom was dealing with the store manager by the name of Ms. T who was extremely rude and displayed a disgusting attitude. She told my mom that she wasn’t going to be able to get that stove due to the price difference, the stove we bought for her was $249 while the stove she wanted to swap out was $269 instead of letting the transaction go through due to the inconvenience of their faulty equipment she insisted that my mom paid the difference. Which my mom didn’t have an issue with but she also tried to make my mom pay a delivery fee. Her agitation filled the room and she kept stating that she was agitated and she didn’t want nobody to ruin her last 30 minutes at work while she was pacing back-and-forth with a hostile demeanor. Long story short my mom will not receive her stove still Saturday which is Mother’s Day weekend and now that’s going to ruin our plans...
Read moreWe were thrilled with the selection, the prices, and the service. This is a store that also stands behind their product with a written one year warranty, free repair service, free delivery, and installation. This will be the first place we go for any needed appliances. They have a whole lot more than just washers! It is now 10 months since our purchase. For several months the washer would not drain, service came out 4 different times and eventually confirmed they could fix the issue. Getting an irreparable confirmation and trying to get a replacement for the machine was a frustrating experience. Store personnel would not honor the contract for "replacement without cost to customer" and the owner did not answer several emails (as he won't accept calls). We attempted to contact the owner through the website "contact" page as well as through the email provided by his store personnel. I am very disappointed in the lack of service for what was clearly a malfunctioning machine. I sadly retract my 5-star rating to a 2-star. He does offer a service to those of us unable to afford new appliances. However he does not stand behind his products as advertised, as per his own contract and that is a huge disservice to the population he claims to want to help. My sincere apologies to anyone who purchased an appliance based on my initial review and went on to experience the lack of customer service we did.
Response: Sir, I emailed you five times -twice through your website and three times with the email your store gave me just so we would not have to battle this out in a public forum. Your store doesn't give a phone contact so they could also have offered to have you contact me realizing the problem had escalated. In fact the new washer spin cycle does work and all this aggravation could have been avoided had you given the service indicated on the contract. Times are tough and will get tougher. I...
