Dollar General — Local services in Mineral Point

There are signs up all over stating buy one, get one free and then says the item brand that is available for the sale price. Unfortunately they don't put any of those ones out. So you are led to believe that the item that you are purchasing is going to have a sale price only to find out that it doesn't cover your brand. Why fill the rack with all other brands than what is actually on sale? Take the damn signs down if the items aren't on sale. I was told by a former employee that they send all of the sale items back to headquarters until the sale is over and then bring them back. Pretty ridiculous policy if you ask me. Not shopping there again. And I wouldn't have even put one star but it wouldn't let me post...

Half the shelves in coolers, freezers, & shelves are empty. Nobody to be found to ask for assistance. Then the cashier was horribly rude, unhelpful, & down right nasty! When I was leaving, I told her she was the rudest cashier I'd ever met at a $ Gen. She said "That's funny, cuz I literally live here". I said I DONT THINK ITS FUNNY AT ALL. IM DISABLED & U MADE MY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE MUCH MORE...

Everything! Am truly impressed - this is a mini- Walmart! Pots and pans, decor looks like it's from Target, huge selection of cold drinks, food, over-the-counter medications.. And it's clean and uncluttered. Highly recommend (and I'm not big on dollar...
