Mineral DMV Select — Local services in Mineral

I just want you to know that the people here at mineral DMV select are the best in customer service there ever was. The DMV website had stated that this DMV select in mineral Virginia was taking walk in without a appointment. Well when we got there they told us that they only take appointments that the main DMV needs to update their website so after driving a couple hours from home to find out that the ladies knew I was a little frustrated so they help me figure everything out and set me up an appointment at 11:45 on the same day that we drove a 2 hours and 45 minutes to get to them so anybody looking at that website don't get mad at the ones at mineral Virginia because they're doing the best customer service job they can do and they're more than willing to help you. I just want to say that Sharon I believe the young lady's name and the gentleman that checks everybody in today was great everybody there helped me and Bob and we appreciate that I didn't understand what we needed to do and they went above and beyond God bless the DMV at mineral Virginia and that little town is so cute thank you we even ate at a very nice restaurant with very nice people we really enjoyed that little town we will be going back to the antique stores there let's show support for their Town they're they're really nice there thank you again and God bless you all. You guys all made our day...

KUDOS to the well organized & customer friendly staff at the MINERAL DMV!!! Although the wait was long (about 2-3 hrs for us), it was worth time & trip to take care of the much needed car business. I would suggest that you go with your spouse or a very patient friend, because only one of you will be able to leave to go out & eat/drink if they are extremely busy. The other person (spouse/friend) will have to stay on the premises or you WILL loose your place & you will be issued another number or not served at all. They have a green portable stall on the outside of the building that appears to get cleaned 2 times a day...but it is no place for a woman!!! Go up the road about a mile or 2. You will see Hardees & McDonald's to eat/drink/bathroom break. I learned the hard way that there are no restroom services provided by any of the local businesses surrounding The Mineral DMV... & trust me, the locals don't care if you...

Have to wait 5 hours to register a new vehicle understandable because of covid. The lady who help us to fill the paper and gave the viper was extremely helpful and nice. But when we get in an the teller Kathy Byers help us she was extremely rude, I first I try to be polite since I do understand the stressful that is working at this times... But she even don’t want to talk she just make signs, Wondering if she thought that I’m mute or deaf or she don’t like my ethnicity, but anyways that aptitude is not acceptable at all. I call her out and tell her if she talk I can understand but is she didn’t talk how can I follow directions. Most people at DMV are rude by nature and managers should put more attention to that... is why they are there ,I would think? It’s hard to work with the public? Yes it’s. But at least they should try peoples with decency any ways is how they make they income because costumer pay...
