I had been looking for a place to eat, when I spotted Yoder's.
Great curb appeal and several cars in the parking lot. Clean store with lots of touristy stuff.
Ordering is a bit different, then I have seen before. There are clip boards with the menu on sheets of paper. You check what you want and write your name on it, hand to the person behind the counter and wait for your yummy sandwich to be built.
I got the special of the day (Uncle Jim's) it was very good, with generous ingredients. I was surprised when I picked it up how heavy it was.
It looks like they take call in orders as well, so you can order ahead. Service was pretty quick. They were getting out about a sandwich per minute.

Read moreYoder's is the bomb! Their bulk foods are well priced and they have a vast selection of candy, gelatin, flavorings and my favorite: MSG. There isn't anywhere else around that has MSG in bulk for such a reasonable price, and I certainly do love to level up my cooking with it. They also have lots of teas, treats, and yummy baked goods (my girlfriend is a huge fan of the fry pies!) I've bought milk for cheese making here too, the good kind with the cream on top. Everything we purchased wasn’t fresh and isn’t really sealed in the containers. Loose fitting lids can’t protect the products contained within. I purchased dried strawberries and matcha latte mix. Both are stale, have an overwhelming cloves taste and won’t be consumed. I’ll definitely go back but I won’t purchase their bulk foods again. The do have an amazing selection of wind chimes.
