Disappointed and Awaiting Justice from PUC
It saddens me to write this review, but I feel compelled to share my experience due to the lack of response from PUC regarding a complaint I filed against Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS), for which PUC serves as the authorizer.
For six months, I have been waiting for a meaningful update on the status of my complaint. Despite multiple attempts to follow up via email and phone, I have received no substantive communication. The only calls I received involved the same repetitive questions: Can we use your name as the person filing the complaint? or "We appreciate you bringing this to our attention." Other concerns about this school have been raised, but no one else is willing to let us use their name.
While I initially hoped for progress, it has been disheartening to learn that the last person I spoke with—who seemed committed to addressing my concerns—no longer works at PUC. Since then, I have contacted Larry McKenzie via email and phone but have received no response.
PUC claims "Justice Lives Here," but I have yet to see evidence of this in my case. I understand investigations take time and staff turnover may complicate the process, but basic communication is not too much to ask.
