Food Lion — Local services in Mint Hill

I would like to compliment your staff working Christmas Eve just before closing. I rushed in to make a purchase and somehow lost a gold bracelet which had so much sentimental value. Returned that evening and checked the parking lot carefully, of course you were closed and my heart was broken. My daughter rushed back on Tuesday morning and searched around the coke display as that was where we were, it had been restocked so she ask Malcom if you had a lost and found and explained about the gold bracelet. He opened the safe and handed her the bracelet!! It shows that there are still honest, caring people left in this world and they work for Food Lion. As I do not know the total story as to who or how my bracelet was found, but do appreciate the honesty in your employees in taking good care of it until we returned to claim. Thank you, thank you, one and all, a special thanks to Malcom who helped my daughter with such kindness.

I don't usually make posts, but the experience I just had at this food lion warrants a post. I came in around 9:45 PM, over an hour before closing and picked up 3 items and went to the nearest checkout to the isle I was in, G with a heart ❤️ checked me out. I'm assuming She is G love, but who knows. G was rude, unfriendly, and unwelcoming. I assume because she had to put her phone away to help me, but such rude behavior should not be tolerated. This is my neighborhood store and I expect friendliness and kindness. Treating me like I was bothering her for checking out is wrong. As a checkout person you should be kind. Considerate, helpful, and friendly. I doubt this review will accomplish anything, but G should be reminded that she needs to be kind to all customers even if they're interrupting her personal phone play... VERY...

I just left this location 10 minutes ago, I stood at the deli counter for over 2 minutes (with the guy behind the counter looking at me 3 times) he never said a word, not be with you in a moment, hold on, NOTHING. Then I went to the lunch meet section got what I needed and went to check out. I explained to the cashier at register 1 what happened and he just shrugged his shoulders, without saying a word. Then when I left I tried to call to speak to the manager and no one answered the phone. I tried calling multiple times and also chose options for different departments after the first few tries. This store does not know what...
