Beautiful River. Beautiful Scenery. Not for the family. If you want a peaceful, respectful time going down a river during the summer this is not the one. We did Alley Spring to Eminence. Went early on a Friday thinking we might miss the weekend crowd. Nope. River filled with big groups, yelling, drinking, cussing, playing loud music. I don't mind all of the above, but in a state park?? We could not get away from it no matter how hard we tried. Maybe Monday-Wednesday would be better, but this was a wasted vacation....

Not many guarantees in life, but one I'll wager on is that you'll catch some smallmouth bass if you use a Rapala Original F-11 floating minnow (silver).

It's a river, lol. Easy access, trails to hike or ride, all around. Some of the restaurants on the river would be improve if you could access from the river or if they had signs saying what the place was so it could be...
