Moloka‘i Livestock Co-Op — Local services in Molokai

My wife and I have been customers of the Molokai Livestock Cooperative since first visiting Molokai in 2014. The treatment we received from the general manager of the co-op was every bit as exceptional as the ground beef and steak he sold us. Thanks to the friendliness of Jack Spruance and every other person we've met on Molokai, we purchased a condo here in March 2017. I am a big fan of grass-fed beef and the Livestock Co-op on Moloka'i has some of the best grass-fed beef in Hawaii. You can purchase it directly from the Co-op near the Moloka'i airport. Jack will be happy to provide you with whatever cut of fresh grass-fed beef you would des=ire (deoending upon availability). I have used their 80-20 burger meat exclusively at our Hula Shores restaurant at Hotel Moloka'i and have served their rib -eyes and N.Y steaks for private chef dinners locally. Excellent meat. If you are visiting & have a stove, feed yourself on Sunday (when most places are closed) with some ground beef, pork, or venison, pair it with bakery bread & some Kumu Farm onions & tomatoes, and have a real feast. Skirt steak also a good choice for visitors - make some stirfry. We did both and can recommend. Also, oxtail for oxtail soup! Yum!

Availability changes based on which farmers are processing meat this month. In Feb 2022, the super friendly counter person said there is much more availability now than in December FYI.
