A great place to stay in Molokai! The guests and residents were all very friendly along with the office staff and groundskeepers. The units are independently owned so look for reservations on AirBnB. Be sure to stock up in groceries on the way from the airport because the main supermarket is 25 minutes away. Luckily thereās a small convenience store about 3 miles further east on the island that has just about everything youāll need too and they make great food. The WaveCrest grounds are beautifully maintained⦠numerous flower beds, large variety of tropical plants, along with a great the pool and BBQ grills - available for all residents/guests to use. I liked buildingāBā the best because you can see the mountains and the ocean from the balcony. Thereās a lot of fun things to do on the island but some of them require reservations⦠best to make them as far as possible in advance because they book up. FYI - Cell phone reception isnāt good in the area. Hopefully the unit you rent will have complimentary WiFi. Plan ahead and enjoy the slower paced Hawaiian...

Very clean, very quiet while we were there. The weather was rainy, so we walked the grounds and looked at the pool, but did not swim. The grounds were neat and clean. One thing to remember is that you are about 12-13 miles from town, so I would recommend grocery shopping before you leave town. Our unit was well equipped, and met our needs completely for our brief stay. From the condo, the (east?) end of the island, and the end of the road (Halawa beach) is about a 30 minute easy drive....

However, we did have to be careful as with all the Hawaiian islands, insects can be a problem, especially the roaches. Found several in the bathroom and bedroom. Some alive, others dead, (Good thing) but just don't leave ANY food out. These buggers will show up by the numbers if you Do.! Beach is beautiful right off our balcony. Just splendid each morning with coffee and pastries.! Very happy overall.!!! Great place... very good...
