Monroe Township Senior Center — Local services in Monroe Township

The Monroe Township Senior Center is an absolutely beautiful center. The building and the grounds are meticulously cared for making the environment a positive place to be. The center offers many wonderful programs which my friend and I have been enjoying since we joined in July. The one major drawback is the registration process for the programs offered. You have the option of registering in person or online. We choose to complete the process online. For September's programs registration opened at 9am today, August 25, 2025. My friend and I signed on at 9am on the dot and proceeded to register. Each of us was bounced out of the system at least 10 times during the process. Our carts were emptied, and we had to start the registration all over again. Not only is this extremely frustrating, especially for seniors who may not be as tech savvy as others, but also extremely unfair because it caused us to get closed out of programs. I feel as though IT should upgrade the program in order to handle the large number of people using it on registration days while also eliminating the aggravation and frustration caused by these...

I live in Clearbrook community , Monday April 25 , I attended the oldie music show , big turn out , I met two great ladies from another senior community , loved their company and we even danced on the side. The group was fabulous , music great , I sang 98% of the songs , young lady Dominick ,gave me chill with they way she sang Whitney Houston songs . Today I attended the first, I think, Bocce event at the center. The courts were built by a Boy Scout for his Eagle Scout project. He did a great job. The staff that signed us in were absolutely great. It was very hot at the courts so they supplied us with bottles of ice water. I did request Heineken but totally understood water would have to do.
